Know what you mean about clothing adding up quickly! Boy, are you going to get tired of seeing me in the same stuff -- oh well, it's worth it to be able to travel to this wonderful area. Lots of laundry going to be done in the bathroom on this trip.
I'm sure you have figured out that James and "Barbara" from The Villages are us (I go by my middle name).

HI Kay,
The group is from all parts of the USA so should be fun. I have checked all the hotels and we can have laundry done, I think 2 have self-serve so if we have time can do a load that evening. I guess we will see how it goes. I have different tops but not 20 HA I keep looking at the carry on what do I want to put in that HA I have some things in plastic bags, shampoo etc, these all add weight.

Good Morning Carolyn --
Well, we're on final countdown -- this time next week we will be at Orlando airport waiting for our flight to Los Angeles. Got major packing done this week just got the last minute stuff to throw in and we're outta here!
With this crazy weather, sure hope everyone will be able to get out to Los Angeles OK. Bet those from Minnesota, Pennsylvania and New York will be happy to get out of there! Come to think of it...Florida hasn't had such a great winter this year, either.

I guess we should get started with our suitcases HA Bill's sister and hubby are coming in from IN to stay at the house and keep our doggy they will be here Wed. so I need to get a move on. I have some things ready so it won't take long since I will have only 1 suitcase, this will be a first, I don't do well living out of one. Should be interesting. HA We are so excited and will look forward to seeing you in LA.

This is for Kay. We went on this trip last November and we would go back in a minute. It was our first tour and we had a wonderful time. We loved the Out back because it is so different. If you are going in Feb. it will be hot! you need good walking shoes. I wore mine all the time. Leave dress up clothes at home because the most formal clothes that most of us had were slacks and capris. Both Australia and New Zealand people are wonderful and so friendly. A day pack would be very helpful< not very large> Pack light because your suitcase will be weighed at each place. There is a bookstore in Alice Springs called the Red Kangaroo. Go and buy a book called A Town like Alice--It is a good read. Have a wonderful time! We will definitely use Odysseys again.
