Earthquake in Turkey and Syria

As relief, aid, and rescue efforts continue in Turkey and Syria, we at Odysseys Unlimited would like to acknowledge the massive impact on the lives of those affected by the devastation of February 6. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the victims, survivors, and loved ones. Odysseys Unlimited has had a long and close relationship with Turkey and has been operating tours there for 25 years; our friendships with our partners on site run very deep. Fortunately, all of our staff members there (including our tour directors) are safe and well, since most reside in and around Istanbul, Izmir, and Antalya, far from the epicenter of the quake.

To help with relief efforts, Odysseys Unlimited has made a substantial contribution to Doctors without Borders (www.msf.org). The organization, already working in the affected regions, has been treating the wounded in both Turkey and Syria since the earthquakes struck.

Our relationship with Turkey will continue and our tours there, far from the epicenter and unaffected by the quake, will operate as planned. We stand with the Turkish people in their time of need.
