We spend most of the time on our Costa Rica’s Natural Heritage tour exploring the magnificent rainforests and jungles of Costa Rica, learning about the flora, fauna, and local residents of this beloved nation.
But before returning home, we head to the coast for three nights of rest and relaxation at the lush JW Marriott Guanacaste Resort & Spa, which sits on a stretch of pristine Costa Rican coastline.

The JW Marriott offers a magnificent oceanfront resort experience
The sprawling, hacienda-style resort offers six restaurants serving a variety of cuisines, three bars, an Italian ice cream and coffee shop, outdoor infinity pool, hot tub, fitness center, hair salon, award-winning spa with massage and beauty services, and bicycles for rent. Also nearby: hiking and jogging trails, golf, and ziplining.

The resort's infinity pool brings guests directly to the azure Pacific

Each air-conditioned guest room includes a private bath, hair dryer, tea- and coffee-making facilities, in-room safe, TV, and phone.
