We are deeply saddened to share the news that James McKenzie – one of our longest serving tour directors and long-time colleague – passed away on June 14, 2024.
For 24 years, James approached each and every tour with incredible passion and enthusiasm and was instrumental in the creation and leadership of our first southern Africa tours. James was our “go-to” person on the ground in the region, one of our top tour directors, and above all, a loyal and compassionate friend to those who worked with him.
Despite ongoing health issues over the past few years, James continued to provide our guests with truly excellent service, introducing them to all that the incredible region of southern Africa has to offer. His love and passion for our guests, the African bush, and virtually everyone he met along the way were paramount to him.
Our sympathies and condolences go out to James’ loved ones. We will all miss him.
