Floating village of Ganvié, Benin
In a recent Forbes spotlight on three off-the-beaten-path adventures, renowned travel journalist Everett Potter highlighted our West Africa Discovery small group tour. This tour, featuring just 12 to 24 guests, allows travelers to uncover the deep history and fascinating traditions of Ghana, Togo, and Benin, while also providing memorable encounters with villagers and craftspeople during experiences unavailable to larger groups.
Potter says as much in his piece, writing: "Participants visit a Krobo tribe artisan community, explore Lomé’s Grand Marché, and even attend a Vodun (Voodoo) ceremony. From the floating village of Ganvié and a Zangbeto dance performance to visiting slave route monuments, such as the Door of No Return in Ouidah, it’s a rich exploration of an Africa few people ever see."
We're honored to be included, and look forward to welcoming guests to this fascinating part of the world!
