Video: Providing Clean Water in Kenya with The Water Project

For several years, we have provided funding and support to The Water Project, an organization working to provide clean, safe water and sanitation solutions to communities in sub-Saharan Africa. This video highlights two initiatives built by The Water Project and funded by Odysseys Unlimited.

The first is a protected spring in western Kenya, which allows members of the community to access clean, fresh water at a convenient location, rather than having to walk a long distance to pull water from a stream that may carry disease. The second initiative is the creation of a borehole and hand-pumped well on the grounds of the Manyonje Primary School. Before this well was built, students had to leave school grounds and miss class time to find water. Now, students, along with members of the community, have access to clean water whenever they need it.
