At Odysseys Unlimited, we’re always seeking out new horizons. Each year, we carefully review our lineup of small group tours, both to ensure that each tour provides a unique and memorable travel experience and to open the door to new adventures to unexplored destinations.

Over the past few months, four new itineraries have taken shape. In late 2026 and early 2027, we’re excited for our guests to discover four beloved destinations across four separate continents. Whether your travel dreams lie in the American West, Australia, China, or Jordan and Egypt, read on for details on each of these exciting new small group tours.

The American West

It’s not every day that we bring back a previously advertised small group tour. But the option to spend two nights within perhaps America’s most beloved natural landscape provided the perfect reason to reach into the archives. In recent years, our North America lineup included The American West. And after a hiatus, we’re thrilled to reintroduce this 10-day adventure for Spring 2027, with a major upgrade.

Only nine lodging options exist inside Yellowstone National Park, and on Days 6 and 7 of this tour, we stay in one of them: the Grant Village Lodge, set along the western shore of Yellowstone Lake. This gives us unparalleled access to this beloved national park, and elevates this tour above many standard Western itineraries.

Australia in Depth

On our new 20-day Australia in Depth tour, we crisscross the continent from Sydney to Uluru, the Great Barrier Reef to Adelaide, and Tasmania to beloved Melbourne.

Building on our longtime Exploring Australia & New Zealand tour, Australia in Depth adds new experiences in Sydney, the Outback, and Cairns, and offers our first-ever opportunities for small group touring in Adelaide, Tasmania, and Melbourne.

Exploring China

In Spring 2027, we’re going back to China. On Exploring China, guests will spend two weeks experiencing the historic highlights and cosmopolitan marvels of one of the world’s most diverse and fascinating destinations.

On this expertly curated itinerary, guests begin their tour with four nights in Beijing, head to Xian to view the Terracotta Warriors and get a taste of local life, journey via high-speed rail to Chengdu for a day spent with the giant pandas, and conclude their adventures with three nights in sparkling Shanghai (featured image at top).

Exploring Jordan & Egypt

Starting this October, two legendary destinations come to life on one enthralling journey. Accompanied by expert Jordanian and Egyptian guides, Odysseys guests will spend a week each in Jordan and Egypt, enjoying a unique mix of world-renowned historical sites and small group highlights. An optional four-night extension to Alexandria provides even more history to savor.
