“What do I love?” repeats Odysseys Unlimited Tour Director Eva Matosevic, answering herself promptly with “People!” which is why she loves being a tour director, she says. “I love their stories, their passion for travel, their openness to trying new things – whether it’s a pasta with a new topping, an unusual museum, or dancing in the middle of a piazza in Italy with a glass of wine in their hands.”

Croatian born and bred, Eva lives in Istria where she and her husband have spent the past eight years restoring their home, “… a ruin from 1735,” she explains. “We have a big estate, with vineyards and olive trees, so we are winemakers and we make our own olive oil.”
Unsurprisingly, Eva is always on the go. In addition to traveling and tour directing, she recently started a side business sewing and designing shopping bags, along with the jewelry that she’s been creating for years. She adds, “And I love skiing – especially in the Dolomites. Nothing can beat this experience! I also love to cook … I even offer cooking classes,” says this woman of many interests and talents.
