Historian Gil Selby was raised in Manchester, UK, and now makes his home in a small town just outside Valencia, Spain. It’s this cosmopolitan perspective, along with his effortless people skills, which make Gil such a beloved guide, whether he's leading tours in his native British Isles or his adopted homeland in the Iberian Peninsula.
“Getting to know each guest within the group is fascinating,” Gil says. “I love seeing the varied destinations come alive for my guests and trying to work out how to tailor the experience to each individual.”
Gil leads both our Journey through Britain and Paradores & Pousadas small group tours, and does so with an enthusiasm and joy that guests rave about.
