A lifelong resident of Hanoi, Huy studied tourism at university and has been leading tours in his country since 1998. He loves his job, he says, because “I love meeting with many different people, showing them my country and sharing life stories along the way.”

Huy’s favorite place in Vietnam is the Mekong Delta, which Odysseys groups visit on both Journey through Vietnam and Southeast Asia Odyssey. “I love bringing people to the Mekong Delta,” explains Huy, “where authentic farming life is all around.” He adds, “I also like to show the deep culture of the Indochine, the Indian and Chinese influence on the countries of Southeast Asia.
When not leading tours, Huy enjoys reading and photography. And, he says, “I am seriously into cooking now!”
